Rattan: Rattan is a natural, flexible, and high-quality material that is woven into Detjer chairs. As with the nature and process of this handling, it might stretch and become less tense over a longer period of time. This is part of the character and does not diminish seating comfort.
Wood: Wood is a natural material that reacts to its environment, such as temperature, humidity, and dryness. Depending on season and your house, wood can expand and contract.
