Rattan: Rattan is a natural, flexible, and high-quality material that is woven into Detjer chairs. As with the nature and process of this handling, it might stretch and become less tense over a longer period of time. This is part of the character and does not diminish seating comfort.

Wood: Wood is a natural material that reacts to its environment, such as temperature, humidity, and dryness. Depending on season and your house, wood can expand and contract. This is the case with all real wood and falls into the natural character of the furniture. In the winter months heating makes the air dryer, resulting in the wood to contract, sometimes showing cracks. If the humidity raises, the wood will expand and close the cracks.

Cushions: Our corresponding seating cushions are made to perfectly fit your new dining chairs. They are made out of a heavy-duty fabric that will not easily tear or pill. All the cushions are available to order on our website.
